A 4 week online workshop for poets new to writing speculative and fantasy poetry.

Week 1 will focus on definitions and history of SF poetry. Poets will also write short SF poems in weeks 1-3 to submit to the group for review.

Week 2 looks at the current state of SF Poetry. We’ll also review poems submitted from week 1.

Week 3 will be an exploration of form. We’ll also review poems submitted from week 2.

Week 4 will be a review of current markets for SF Poems. We’ll also review poems submitted from week 3.

I administer the workshop through the Epos Discord, where I have a strict no-harassment policy. On Monday of each week, I post a discussion topic in the chat and poets carry on a discourse through the week on that topic.

The participants will review poems submitted during the workshop under a review policy distributed before the workshop starts.
